I used to think pearl strand necklaces mostly represent dignity or elegance. A few weeks ago, I happened to watch a fashion show on TV, and found out I was wrong. I realized that layering matching can be the most important factor to style simple pearl stand necklaces. In a smart matching, a pearl strand can totally change its traditional concept and look so stylish other than noble and majestic.
Layering remains hot this year. Instead of wearing a double stand or triple strand pearl necklace, models wear completely different types of necklaces together in layers. Here I would like to share the new ideas I have got from the fashion show on TV.
Model A
She was wearing three types of necklaces together: a white pearl choker (around 14 inches), a thin platinum necklace (around 15 inches) and a flat black collar. These three similar length and different color necklaces together bring out a mixture of stylishness, sexiness, elegance and dignity.
Model B
She was wearing two types of necklaces: a creamy pearl opera necklace (around 28 inch) and a similar length of dark metal chain. This is a simple but remarkable way of matching. The pearl opera necklace brings out flowing and romantic feeling. The dark medal chain sets off the shininess and smoothness of the pearls
Model C
She was showing an intricate matching: a multi-strand white pearl collar, a white pearl choker with a big size pendant and an extra long white pearl necklace (pearl rope). This is an exaggerated style, which is also a big trend in 2007. The pure white color of the whole setting makes pearls stand out without bringing a feeling of mess.
Who says pearl strands are only for majestic occasion? Get started with new refreshing ideas of matching and you will stand out from all others and become the most stylish lady.
